Daniel is a Senior Consultant and Senior SharePoint Architect at in Adelaide, Australia who runs his own consultancy business.
Previous to being in his current role, Daniel was employed at Hostworks as their Senior Application Developer and Senior SharePoint Architect. Daniel left Hostworks to pursure a more dynamic career in SharePoint.
Previous to being employed at Hostworks, Daniel was employed at OBS as a Solutions Consultant dealing with both SharePoint Portal Services 2003 and WSSv3/Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.
Daniel has a solid knowledge of C# and the Microsoft .NET Framework.
In January of 2008, Daniel founded the Adelaide SharePoint User Group in the interest of benefiting and educating the local community around SharePoint and in April of 2008, Daniel took over as President/convenor of the ACS I.T Architecture Special Interest Group.
Daniel was awarded the Microsoft MVP award in July 2008 and again in 2009 and was reawarded in 2009 for his contribution to the community and his technical knowledge of both Windows SharePoint Services and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (and SharePoint 2010), making him the first and only SharePoint MVP in South Australia to date
Daniel has received the Microsoft MVP award 2 years in a row. 2008-2009, 2009-2010.
At the Australian Computer Society AGM, Daniel was elected Vice-Chair of the Branch Executive Committee for South Australia and is currently re-standing for election as Vice-Chair and also is standing for nomination on the Advisory board of second level domains at auDA.
